Where do I Park?

friday, May 1: Park at Ijams Visitor Center, Mead’s Quarry, and Mead’s Quarry Overflow lot for social hour, music & art fun, and full moon hike. You are also encouraged to Bike in for the festival.

Boat drop-off for the group float at holston river park starts at 7pm - If you are bringing your own boat, drop off your boat at the river launch at holston river park and then move your vehicle to ijams quarry lots so you can pick up your vehicle after the float.

Saturday 5/

Saturday, May 2: in addition to Ijams Visitor Center, Mead’s Quarry, and Mead’s Quarry Overflow lot, there will be parking available at south doyle middle school and shuttles that go between there and the visitors center.

Parking will not be available at River Landing or Aberdeen Lane.

Do I have to Pay for Parking?

NO! Parking for Outlandish Adventure Festival is free.

What if it rains?

This event happens rain or shine! If There is rain, check the schedule for any shifts in time and location for music, vendors, and activities from the original plan. All is still a go!

CAn I Bring My own Boat or SUP?

You may bring your own boat or sup for the friday night paddle. If you want to rent one, we will have boats available for $10.

On saturday at mead’s quarry, river sports will be reducing the rental fee to $10 for the day to use their boats and sups. Guided River paddles will have boats provided by TN riverline for free.

personal boats are not allowed on meads quarry lake, but can be put in at the river.

CAn I Participate in the Whip-off and highline?

Sorry, no. These events are purely spectacle and we’re leaving it up to the professionals to show us how it’s done. There are opportunities to ride trails and the greenway throughout the day and a slackline workshop in the afternoon. Check out the schedule for specifics once it’s available.

is there a bike valet?

There is no valet. Bring bike locks and secure your personal items.

can I bring my pet?

this is Not a pet event. If you have one with you, it must be leashed. Thank you!

is this a family friendly event?
